This past October I went to Haiti for a week with HIS Vision to work with a team to provide eye care to Haitians. I did photography for the organization to use as their marketing material over the next year or so.
During our week there we were stationed in Cap Haitien, Haiti where we held 5 different clinics in and around the city. We saw over 700 patients. Many were received glasses allowing them to clearly see the world for the first time. Others received reading glasses, a prescription to help with infections or other issues, or a recommendation to see a surgeon for more severe cases such as cataracts.
